No coffee and biscuits, no move!
If you are moving office some things are essential.
9th June 2015A bit like the ice cream industry, summer is a busy time for crate hire. If you are planning a move this summer crates should be top of your list.
Add labels, ties and skates to your order and make your office move a smoother one. When packing crates remember they will probably need to be stacked so don’t overfill.
If you are moving items yourself remember crates can get quite heavy when full , before you start packing, put the empty crate on a skate, then once filled stack another empty crate on top. Always make sure your crates are labelled, removal people will know where they have to go and more importantly you will know who they belong to and what’s inside.
If you are planning a big move this summer and you need hundreds of crates, make sure all crates are accounted for by each department they are released to. Keep a record of who's got what, where they have it and did they return it!
This will help make the crate rental side of your move successful.
You might find you have finished with some of the crates and need to make some room in your office. We can stagger crate collections rather than pick them all up together but remember you will be charged for each one.
Don’t forget how handy the LC1 personal crate can be when moving. This crate is ideal for your desk top items including: stationary, family photos, lucky mascots, tea, coffee and even your cup a soup!
Moving offices can be just as stressful as moving house, look to your boss for leadership and if that doesn’t work look to your boss for coffee and doughnuts!
